19. Formal Translation For this is grace, if because of conscience toward God {Theos, Approving Witness} someone endures sorrows while suffering unjustly. |
19. Dynamic Translation For it is a mark of favor with God if a person, mindful of God {Theos, Reason for Endurance}, patiently endures pain while suffering for no wrong of their own. |
