1 Samuel 10:27:1וּבְנֵ֧יuveneand sons of
1 Samuel 10:27:2בְלִיַּ֣עַלbeliyaalworthlessness 1 Samuel 10:27:3אָמְר֗וּamroosaid 1 Samuel 10:27:4מַה־יֹּשִׁעֵ֙נוּ֙mayoshienuhow will he save us 1 Samuel 10:27:5זֶ֔הzethis 1 Samuel 10:27:6וַיִּבְזֻ֕הוּvayivzuhuand they despised him 1 Samuel 10:27:7וְלֹֽא־הֵבִ֥יאוּveloheviuand not they brought 1 Samuel 10:27:8ל֖וֹloto him 1 Samuel 10:27:9מִנְחָ֑הminkhaa gift offering 1 Samuel 10:27:10וַיְהִ֖יvayehiand he was 1 Samuel 10:27:11כְּמַחֲרִֽישׁ׃פkemakharishas one keeping silent
27. Formal Translation
But the sons of worthlessness said, “How can this one save us?” They despised him and did not bring him a gift, but he was as one who kept silent.
27. Dynamic Translation
Some scoundrels said, “How could this man deliver us?” They brought him no present, and Saul remained silent.
