26. Formal Translation
Nevertheless Saul did not speak anything that day, for he thought, “Something has happened to him; he is unclean; surely he is unclean.”
26. Dynamic Translation
Saul said nothing that day, because he thought, “Something happened to David. He is ceremonially unclean—yes, he must be unclean.”
