The final assurance with the concessive conjunction wə-gām {וְגַם | wə-gām} ‘and also’ in wə-gām Sha’ul avi yodea‘ ken {וְגַם שָׁאוּל אָבִי יֹדֵעַ כֵּן | wə-gām Šā’ûl ’ā-ḇî yō-ḏē-a‘ kēn} frames Saul’s own knowledge as confirmation. The paratactic chain of clauses linked by waw reinforces the unfolding promise.
