7. Formal Translation
Saul was told that David had entered Keilah, and Saul said, “God {Elohim, Sovereign Deliverer} has delivered him into my hand, for he has shut himself in by going into a city with gates and a bar.”
7. Dynamic Translation
When Saul heard that David was at Keilah, he said, “God {Elohim, Powerful Contender} has handed him over to me, because David has boxed himself in by entering a town with gates and a bar.”
