16. Formal Translation And by common confession, great is the mystery of godliness: He {Christos, Incarnate Lord} who was manifested in flesh, was justified in spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed in the world, was taken up in glory. |
16. Dynamic Translation We all agree that the secret of godliness is truly great: He {Christos, Vindicated Son} appeared in a human body, was proven right by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was announced to the nations, trusted in throughout the world, and taken up into glory. |
