The term khayil {חַיִל | khayil} denotes a military unit, while the prepositional phrase bəkhol-’ārei-Yehudah-habeṣurōt {בְּכָל־עָרֵי יְהוּדָה הַבְּצֻר֑וֹת | bəkhol-’ārei-Yehudah habeṣurōt} constructs “in all the fortified cities of Judah.”
