| 2. Formal Translation And they came and told Jehoshaphat, saying, “A great multitude has come against you from beyond the sea, from Aram, and behold, they have reached Hazezon Tamar—that is, En Gedi.” |
| 2. Dynamic Translation Some men came and reported to Jehoshaphat, “A huge army is advancing on you from the other side of the sea, from Aram, and they are now at Hazezon Tamar—also known as En Gedi.” |
