| 6. Formal Translation And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as the house of Ahab had done, for the daughter of Ahab was his wife, and he did evil in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Judge}. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation He followed the example of the kings of Israel, acting like the family of Ahab since Ahab’s daughter was his wife. He did what was wrong in the sight of the LORD {Yahweh, Standard Setter}. |
