Formal Translation In the house of God {Elohim, Center of Worship} the whole assembly entered a covenant {berit, binding pledge} with the king, and Jehoiada said to them, “Look—this is the king’s son; he will reign, just as the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Fulfiller} spoke concerning the sons of David.” |
| 3. Dynamic Translation Then at God’s {Elohim, One Who Receives Worship} house the entire gathering {qahal, gathered community} pledged themselves with the king. Jehoiada said, “See, the king’s son is here to rule, exactly as the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Promise Keeper} promised about David’s descendants.” |
