| 17. Formal Translation Then Amaziah the king of Judah consulted, and he sent to Joash son of Jehoahaz son of Jehu king of Israel, saying, “Come, let us meet face to face.” |
| 17. Dynamic Translation After Amaziah king of Judah took counsel, he dispatched a challenge to Joash, son of Jehoahaz and grandson of Jehu king of Israel, saying, “Come, let us meet one another face to face.” |
