The prepositional accusative et {אֶת־ | ’eṯ} marks the direct object (hapesach {הַפֶּסַח | ha-pes-sā-ḥ} ‘the Passover’), while the prepositional b- with negative lo (belo {בְּלֹא | bə-lō}) ‘not without’ contrasts with the written requirement introduced by the passive participle kakathuv {כַכָּתוּב | ka-kā-ṯūḇ} ‘as written’.
