Subsequent verbs giddēa {גִּדֵּעַ | ġiddēʿa} ‘he cut down,’ shibbar {שִׁבַּר | šibbār} ‘he broke in pieces,’ and vehedak {וְהֵדַק | wəhēdaq} ‘and made into dust’ intensify the destruction, culminating in vayizrok {וַיִּזְרֹק | wayyizrōq} ‘and he scattered.’
