18. Formal Translation For truly, will God {Elohim, Transcendent Sustainer} dwell with humanity upon the earth? Behold, the heavens—even the highest heavens—cannot contain You. How much less this house which I have built! |
18. Dynamic Translation But can God {Elohim, Exalted Creator} truly live among people on earth? Even the skies, and the highest heavens, are not large enough to hold You—so how much less this temple I have built! |
