18. Formal Translation
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord {Kyrios, Source of Transformation}, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, who is the Spirit {pneuma, Transforming Presence}.
18. Dynamic Translation
All of us, with faces that are no longer veiled, behold and reflect the Lord’s {Kyrios, Image-Renewer} glory, being changed into the same image from one degree of glory to another, exactly as this comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit {pneuma, Empowering Work}.
