18. Formal Translation But everything originates with God {Theos, Reconciling Source}, who reconciled us to Himself by means of Christ {Christos, Mediating Savior} and has entrusted to us the ministry of reconciliation. |
18. Dynamic Translation God {Theos, Peacemaking Source} is the source of all that exists, and through Christ {Christos, Restoring Mediator} He has restored our fellowship with Himself and commissioned us for the work of reconciliation. |
