19. Formal Translation That is, God {Theos, Gracious Reconciler} was in Christ {Christos, Saving Mediator}, reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has placed in us the word of reconciliation. |
19. Dynamic Translation This means that God {Theos, Merciful Forgiver} was at work in Christ {Christos, Living Presence}, bringing the world back to Himself, not holding their wrongdoings against them, and He has entrusted to us the message of reconciliation. |
