16. Formal Translation And what agreement does the temple of God {Theos, Covenant Indweller} have with idols? For we are a temple of the living God, just as God said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” |
16. Dynamic Translation What kind of partnership can the temple of God {Theos, Present Indweller} have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God said, “I will live in them and move among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” |
