2. Formal Translation
And Ahaziah fell through the lattice in his upper room in Samaria and became sick. He sent messengers and said to them, “Go, inquire of Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, whether I will recover from this sickness.”
2. Dynamic Translation
Ahaziah tumbled through the latticework of his upstairs room in Samaria and fell ill. He dispatched messengers with this order: “Go and consult Baal-Zebub, the god of Ekron, to learn whether I will recover from this sickness.”
