12. Formal Translation He brought out the king’s son and set upon him the crown and the testimony. Then they made him king and anointed him; they clapped their hands and said, “Let the king live!” |
12. Dynamic Translation He brought out the king’s son, placed the crown on him and gave him the testimony. They proclaimed him king and anointed him, then they clapped their hands and cried, “Long live the king!” |
