4. Formal Translation And Joash said to the priests, “Collect all the silver of the sacred offerings that is brought into the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Temple Sovereign}, including the valuation of each person and any additional silver that a man’s heart prompts him to bring.” |
4. Dynamic Translation Joash told the priests, “Gather every offering of silver brought into the LORD’s {Yahweh, Temple Provider} temple—money for the census, each person’s assessed amount and anything more a person decides to give.” |
