14. Formal Translation
And Elisha became ill with the sickness that would lead to his death; then Joash, king of Israel, went down to him, wept over his face and said, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!”
14. Dynamic Translation
Once Elisha fell ill with the sickness that would cost him his life, Joash, the king of Israel, came down to see him and wept over him, saying, “My father, my father, the chariots and horsemen of Israel!”
