| 13. Formal Translation And Joash king of Israel seized Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Ahaziah, at Beth Shemesh. Then he proceeded to Jerusalem and broke open the wall of Jerusalem from the Ephraim Gate to the Corner Gate, covering four hundred cubits. |
| 13. Dynamic Translation Joash, king of Israel, captured Amaziah, king of Judah—the son of Joash and grandson of Ahaziah—at Beth Shemesh. He then entered Jerusalem and tore down part of the city wall from the Ephraim Gate to the Corner Gate, a distance of 400 cubits. |
