16. Formal Translation
Then Menahem attacked Tiphsah and everyone in it, along with its territory from Tirzah, because it refused to open, and he struck all its pregnant women, ripping them open.
16. Dynamic Translation
At that time, Menahem besieged Tiphsah and its inhabitants and its borders from Tirzah, for the city would not open to him. He then killed all the pregnant women, tearing them open.
