וַיָּבֵ֣א{va-ya-VE###vah-yah-VEE###and he brought} מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֡וּר{ME-lekh-a-SHUR###MEH-lehkh-ah-SHOOR###the king of Assyria} מִבָּבֶ֡ל{mi-ba-VEL###mih-bah-VEHL###from Babylon} וּ֠מִכּוּ֠תָה{u-mi-ku-TA###oo-mih-koo-TAA###and from Cuthah} וּמֵעַוָּ֤א{u-me-a-VA###oo-may-ah-VAA###and from Avva} וּמֵֽחֲמָת֙{u-me-kha-MAT###oo-may-ah-khah-MAHT###and from Hamath} וּסְפַרְוַ֔יִם{u-se-far-va-YIM###oo-seh-fahr-vah-YEEM###and Sepharvaim} וַיֹּ֙שֶׁב֙{va-yo-SHEV###vah-yoh-SHEHV###and he made them dwell} בְּעָרֵ֣י{be-a-RE###beh-ah-REE###in the cities of} שֹֽׁמְר֔וֹן{sho-me-RON###shoh-meh-ROHN###Samaria} תַּ֖חַת{TA-khat###TAH-khaht###instead of} בְּנֵ֣י{be-NE###beh-NEE###the sons of} יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל{yis-ra-EL###yihs-rah-EEL###Israel} וַיִּֽרְשׁוּ֙{va-yir-SHU###vah-yih r-SHOO###and they possessed} אֶת־שֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן{et-sho-me-RON###eht-shoh-meh-ROHN###Samaria} וַיֵּֽשְׁב֖וּ{va-ye-she-VU###vah-yee-sheh-VOO###and they lived} בְּעָרֶֽיהָ׃{be-a-re-HA###beh-ah-reh-HAA###in its cities}
