| 14. Formal Translation And Hezekiah, king of Judah, sent to the king of Assyria at Lachish, saying, “I have sinned. Withdraw from me, and whatever you impose upon me I will bear.” Then the king of Assyria imposed on Hezekiah, king of Judah, three hundred talents of silver and thirty talents of gold. |
| 14. Dynamic Translation So Hezekiah, king of Judah, sent this message to the king of Assyria at Lachish: “I have done wrong; withdraw from me, and I will pay whatever you demand.” Then the king of Assyria placed on Hezekiah, king of Judah, 300 talents of silver and 30 talents of gold. |
