Exegesis

The final clause vekoach ayin leledah {וְכֹחַ אַיִן לְלֵדָה | wəḵōaḥ ʾayin ləlēdâ} ‘and there is no strength for giving birth’ uses the nonexistence particle ʾayin to state total inability, sharpening the metaphor into a confession of helplessness at the critical moment.
