12. Formal Translation
And Elisha saw, and he began to cry out, “My father! My father! The chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more. Then he took hold of his garments and tore them in two pieces.
12. Dynamic Translation
Elisha saw this and shouted, “My father! My father! The chariots and the horsemen of Israel!” When he could no longer see him, he grabbed his clothes and ripped them into two pieces.
