1. Formal Translation
Around that time, Hezekiah became ill, near death, and the prophet Isaiah son of Amoz came to him and said, “This is what the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Judge} says: ‘Put your house in order, for you will die; you will not live.’”
1. Dynamic Translation
During those days, Hezekiah fell seriously ill, and Isaiah, the prophet and son of Amoz, came in and said, “The LORD {Yahweh, Divine Spokesman} says: ‘Arrange your household affairs now, because you are going to die and you will not recover.’”
