Formal Translation Go, inquire of the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Judge} for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that has been found; for great is the wrath of the LORD which is kindled against us because our fathers did not listen to the words of this book, to do according to all that is written concerning us. |

Dynamic Translation Go and seek the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Instructor} for me, for the people, and for all Judah about the words of this discovered book, because the LORD’s anger burns against us—our ancestors did not listen to the words of this book in order to do everything written concerning us. |
