| 6. Formal Translation And he brought out the Asherah from the house of the LORD {Yahweh, Temple Judge}, outside Jerusalem to the Kidron Valley; there he burned it, crushed it to dust, and cast its dust on the graves of the people. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation He removed the Asherah pole from the LORD’s {Yahweh, Holiness Maintainer} temple, carried it outside Jerusalem to the Kidron Valley, burned it there, ground it to dust, and scattered the dust over the graves of the people. |
