21. Formal Translation And all Moab heard that the kings had gone up to fight against them, and they called out everyone who could gird on a belt and upward, and they stood on the border. |
21. Dynamic Translation When the Moabites heard that the kings had marched up to fight them, they called to arms every man able to gird a belt and upward, and they took up positions along the border. |
