2 Kings 5:17:1וַיֹּאמֶר֮vayomerand he said
2 Kings 5:17:2נַעֲמָן֒naamanNaaman 2 Kings 5:17:3וָלֹ֕אvaloand not 2 Kings 5:17:4יֻתַּן־נָ֣אyutannamay it be given, please 2 Kings 5:17:5לְעַבְדְּךָ֔leavdekhato your servant 2 Kings 5:17:6מַשָּׂ֥אmasaa load, a burden 2 Kings 5:17:7צֶֽמֶד־פְּרָדִ֖יםtsemedperadima pair of mules 2 Kings 5:17:8אֲדָמָ֑הadamaearth, soil 2 Kings 5:17:9כִּ֡יkifor, because 2 Kings 5:17:10לֽוֹא־יַעֲשֶׂה֩loyaasehe will not do, he will not make 2 Kings 5:17:11ע֨וֹדodagain, any more 2 Kings 5:17:12עַבְדְּךָ֜avdekhayour servant 2 Kings 5:17:13עֹלָ֤הolaburnt offering 2 Kings 5:17:14וָזֶ֙בַח֙vazevakhand sacrifice 2 Kings 5:17:15לֵאלֹהִ֣יםlelohimto a god, to gods 2 Kings 5:17:16אֲחֵרִ֔יםakherimother {ones} 2 Kings 5:17:17כִּ֖יkibut, except, for 2 Kings 5:17:18אִם־לַיהוָֽה׃imlayahwehif except to the LORD
17. Formal Translation
And Naaman said, “If you do not, let a load of earth, as much as a pair of mules can carry, please be given to your servant, for your servant will no longer offer burnt offering or sacrifice to other gods, but only to the LORD {Yahweh, Worship Recipient}.”
17. Dynamic Translation
Naaman said, “Then please let your servant take as much soil as two mules can carry, because I will never again present a burnt offering or any sacrifice to any god except the LORD {Yahweh, Only True God}.”
