27. Formal Translation He walked in the way of the house of Ahab and did what was evil in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Moral Judge}, as the house of Ahab had done, because he was a son-in-law of the house of Ahab. |
27. Dynamic Translation He adopted Ahab’s path and acted wrongly in the sight of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Evaluator}, just as Ahab’s family did, since he was Ahab’s son-in-law. |
