29. Formal Translation And King Joram returned to Jezreel to be healed from the wounds the Arameans had given him at Ramah in his fighting with Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah son of Jehoram, king of Judah, went down to see Joram son of Ahab in Jezreel because he was sick. |
29. Dynamic Translation So King Joram went back to Jezreel to recover from the wounds the Arameans inflicted on him at Ramah during his battle with Hazael king of Aram. Then Ahaziah, son of Jehoram and king of Judah, went down to visit Joram son of Ahab in Jezreel because he was ill. |
