20. Formal Translation For if, after having escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ {Kyrios kai Soter Iesous Christos, Faithful Redeeming Judge}, they again become entangled in these things and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. |
20. Dynamic Translation For if, after fleeing the corruptions of the world by knowing the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ {Kyrios kai Soter Iesous Christos, Gracious Rescuing Lord}, they get caught up in them again and are defeated, they end up worse off at the end than at the beginning. |
