4. Formal Translation And they say, “Where is the promise of His {Christos, Awaited Returning Lord} coming? For from the time the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they have from the beginning of creation.” |
4. Dynamic Translation They keep on saying, “Where is the promise of His {Christos, Promised Coming One} coming? Ever since the ancestors died, everything has stayed the same as it has from the very beginning of creation.” |
