5. Formal Translation And David’s anger burned greatly against the man, and he said to Nathan, “As the LORD {Yahweh, Oath Witness} lives, surely the man who has done this is a son of death.” |
5. Dynamic Translation David became extremely angry with that man and said to Nathan, “As surely as the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Keeper} lives, the man who did this deserves to die.” |
