20. Formal Translation
And Absalom, her brother, said to her, “Is it Amnon, your brother, who was with you? Now, my sister, be silent; he is your brother. Do not set your heart on this matter.” So Tamar dwelled in the house of Absalom, her brother.
20. Dynamic Translation
Absalom, her brother, asked her, “Was it your brother Amnon who was with you? Now, my sister, stay quiet; he is still your brother. Do not let this consume your heart.” Then Tamar lived, broken and alone, in her brother Absalom’s house.
