36. Formal Translation And it happened as he finished speaking, behold, the sons of the king came, and they lifted their voices and wept. The king and all his servants also wept with very great weeping. |
36. Dynamic Translation As soon as he was done speaking, the king’s sons arrived and broke into loud cries and wept. The king and all his servants joined in, weeping with overwhelming sorrow. |
