| 20. Formal Translation For the sake of turning the course of this matter, your servant Joab did this thing. And my lord is wise, like the wisdom of an angel of God {Elohim, Divine Messenger}, to know all that is in the land. |
| 20. Dynamic Translation Joab, your servant, did this to change how things would turn out. But you, my lord, are as wise as a messenger of God {Elohim, Heavenly Advisor}, knowing everything that happens in the land. |
