The cohortatives unemitehu {וּנְמִיתֵ֙הוּ֙ | wənəmîṯêhû} ‘let us slay him’ and venashmidah {וְנַשְׁמִ֖ידָה | wə-nassimîḏāh} ‘let us destroy’ express communal intent and ruthless determination.
