Exegesis

The relative clause ʾăšer tišməʿū {אֲשֶׁר תִּשְׁמָעוּ | ʾăšer tišməʿū} ‘that you hear’ modifies kāl-dāḇār {כָּל־דָּבָר | kāl-dāḇār} ‘every word.’ English ordering places the subjects before the verb and renders the idiom more naturally as ‘through their hand.’
