10. Formal Translation
But the king said, “What have I to do with you, sons of Zeruiah? Let him curse, because the LORD {Yahweh, Supreme Arbiter} has said to him, ‘Curse David.’ Who then can say, ‘Why have you done this?’”
10. Dynamic Translation
But the king replied, “What does this matter to you and me, sons of Zeruiah? Let him go on cursing, because the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Governor} told him, ‘Curse David.’ Who then can say, ‘Why did you do this?’”
