| 2. Formal Translation And the king said to Ziba, “What are these to you?” And Ziba replied, “The donkeys are for the house of the king to ride, and the bread and the summer fruit for the young men to eat, and the wine for the weary to drink in the wilderness.” |
| 2. Dynamic Translation The king asked Ziba, “Why have you brought these?” Ziba answered, “The donkeys are for the royal family to ride, the bread and fruit are for the young men to eat, and the wine is to refresh those who are tired in the wilderness.” |
