28. Formal Translation
All the house of my father were only men deserving death before my lord the king, but you set your servant among those who eat at the table of my lord the king. So what right do I have still to cry out any more to the king?
28. Dynamic Translation
You see, my entire family and I deserved nothing but death from you, my king, yet you gave me a place to eat at your table like one of your close attendants. So what more could I possibly ask or plead for from you, the king? {servant: eved, one who serves loyally} {eat at your table: okhel shulchan, treated with favor and acceptance}
