8. Formal Translation And Abner became very angry because of the words of Ish-Bosheth, and he said, “Am I a dog’s head of Judah? Today I show kindness to the house of Saul your father, to his brothers and to his friends, and I have not delivered you into the hand of David. Yet you charge me today with the guilt of this woman!” |
8. Dynamic Translation Abner was furious at Ish-Bosheth’s words, and he answered, “Am I a dog’s head of Judah? Today I am showing loyalty to Saul’s family, to his brothers and companions, and I have not handed you over to David. Yet today you accuse me of a fault concerning this woman!” |
