9. Formal Translation
And David answered Rechab and Baanah his brother, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, and said to them, “As the LORD {Yahweh, Redeemer and Rescuer} lives, who has redeemed my soul from every trouble.”
9. Dynamic Translation
David replied to Rechab and his brother Baanah, the sons of Rimmon the Beerothite, saying, “By the life of the LORD {Yahweh, Faithful Deliverer}, who rescued my soul from every kind of trouble.”
