28. Formal Translation And he said to them, “You yourselves know how it is unlawful for a Jewish man to associate with or to come to a foreigner; but God {Theos, Divine Instructor} has shown me that I should not call any person common or unclean.” |
28. Dynamic Translation He said to them, “You know well that it is forbidden for a Jew to associate with or visit someone from another nation, but God {Theos, Barrier Removing Lord} has made it clear to me that I must not consider anyone ordinary or impure.” |
