Exegesis

Finally, the aorist participle elthontes autoi {ἐλθόντες αὐτοὶ | el-thón-tes au-toì} ‘if they themselves come,’ together with the third person imperative exagagetōsan {ἐξαγαγέτωσαν | ex-a-ga-gé-tō-san} ‘let them lead us out,’ delivers Paul’s forceful demand for open vindication.
